Did You Know About the Secret Credit Scores? Part 2
Those of you that read yesterday’s post have already been introduced to the secret credit scores that exist that no consumers have access to and are kept secret by the creditors and the credit bureaus. For those that have not yet read the post, I encourage you to read part 1.
Today I am going to fill you in about 2 other secret credit scores. The first being the response score and the second being the revenue score.
The response score is pretty simple to explain, it is a score that is derived that will tell a creditor how likely you will be to answer an offer for credit. This could be in the form of a new card or offer of balance transfer. Creditors use this information to determine who they will target for offers of credit.
The revenue score is basically a score that determines how much money they will make off you from offering you credit. For example, if you have a history of paying your balances in full you are not making the creditor very much money, but if you are one that has a history of paying the minimum balance and keep your cards maxed out you will have a high revenue score.
I will continue to discuss more secret credit scores in the next post.
