Credit Repair - Self Help

I do not understand how these creditors get away with stuff. They have absolutely nothing to prove that this account is mine. I submitted a rebuttal with the BBB, this is just simply unacceptable. Why won’t they send me proof that this account is mine or not? I sent WFNNB a letter awhile back, this is from an earlier post, stating that I would pay the amount in full if they could prove that this debt is mine. If they want to see any money on this account, why would they not provide proof? If they do not have proof why will they not just delete the tradeline? They have zero chance of collecting on this as it is past the statute of limitations. If I do not get satisfactory results out of the BBB, I will move on to filing a complaint with the Attorney General and the FTC. I want to see documentation on this account, namely a signature so that I can see if this is possibly a case of identity theft by my ex-wife.
